An exceptionally talented creator, Jessica uses dynamic drawing and modeling abilities to generate transformational design solutions. Her belief that everyone, regardless of their status, deserves thoughtfully inspiring design solutions is evident in the way she relentlessly pursues the ideal solution through an iterative process that employs beautiful study models and sketches.
Born in China and raised in Carrboro, North Carolina, Jessica first became interested in design while building houses for Habitat for Humanity. In this hands-on setting, she first saw how her creativity could help improve the lives of others in her community. Since then, Jessica’s skill in drawing and model making and her enthusiasm for design has translated to scholarly success. A graduate of North Carolina State University’s School of Architecture, her design prowess has led to numerous awards and scholarships, including the 2019 AIA Triangle Scholarship Honor Award.
